Christmas Ornament Workshop
Wednesday, December 10th, 10am–12pm
Higashihara Park
Join us in creating Māmakī seed paper ornaments shaped like Christmas cookies, bells, Santa hats, and other festive designs. During this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to decorate and paint your ornaments while enjoying the creativity and calm of our Nature & Art as Therapy program. Once the holiday season is over, simply plant your ornament and watch new māmakī grow—an uplifting way to carry this season’s joy into the new year.
This offering supports mental health wellness through creativity, ʻāina, mindfulness, stewardship, and community connection.
All are welcome, including those with mental health challenges, social service providers, and interested community members. Transportation support may be available upon request.
